Time for the pivotal beach soccer games has come.

Beach soccer, women. Semifinals

Alfa vs Drive 32: 1-2

Two beautiful long-range shots by Yulia Serzhantova brought the team from Bryansk a victory and a berth to the final.

“We are in the final! I love Kazan! I had played in the final before, but as part of Team Bryansk I'll do it for the first time. Super atmosphere! Alfa players are strong, but we are stronger in terms of spirit and energy, especially this year. My teammates have done a good job, that’s why we deserve to be in the final!” told Ivetta Akulova of Drive 32.

NEVA vs Zvezda: 1-5

The second semifinal game featured two teams from Saint-Petersburg. The favourite was hard to guess. Up to the 18th minute the score was 1-1. Gorshkova and Zaytseva each bagged a brace, while the defending Russian champion missed their goal opportunities, to say nothing of the own goal at the end of the game.

“Of course, we have already played against each other, we are from the same city. We got up for this game in the way we always do. I do not want to make forecast for the outcome of the final match. Needless to say, we want to win, and tomorrow is the day to prove it,” concluded Karina Tashkulova of Zvezda.
