The European Championship finals in Kazan will feature three Russian pairs.

Voronina/Bocharova (Russia) - Mason/Scampoli (Italy): 2-0 (21:15, 21:17)

Schoon/van Driel (the Netherlands) - Lysytsia/Dashevska (Ukraine): 2-0 (21:17, 21:15)

Both semifinal games turned out to be very intense. Maria Voronina and Mariia Bocharova defeated the Italian pair Mason/Scampoli, and Schoon/van Driel (the Netherlands) beat the Ukrainians Lysytsia/Dashevska.  It should be noted that the pair from Holland had an edge on the Russian pair Movchan/Andreiuk, who lost in the quarterfinal against Maria Voronina and Mariia Bocharova. The final will begin at 16:00.

Chukhnenkov/Arkhipov (Russia) - Tournier/Nicole (France): 2-1 (19:21, 21:10, 15:12)

The first seeded pair encountered the second, which could easily be named a hidden final of the Championship. Chukhnenkov/Arkhipov played several match points at the Round of 24 on Saturday, and after losing the first set in a close match against the French, one could be certain they were losing nothing. And the Russian players proved it. They whitewashed the French players in the second set 21-10, and after a hard-fought third set made it to the final with a score of 15-12.

Shekunov/Ermotik (Russia) - Shustrov/Gusev (Russia): 0-2 (19:21, 16:21)

The men's final will start at 18:00.
