Overnight leaders Russians collected their third gold of the day and won the team free event in the Kazan leg of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series scoring 97,9000 points.

Anastasiia Arkhipovskaia, Vlada Chigireva, Marina Goliadkina, Veronika Kalinina, Polina Komar, Alla Shishkina, Varvara Subbotina, Mikhaela Kalancha and Mayya Doroshko did not disappoint Russian public, improving FINA ASWS season’s best to 97.9000.

The Spanish Team ranked second (87,9000 points). The synchro swimmers from Belarus scored 82,6333 points and won bronze. After the tournament, they noted that their previous technical performance was much better. “It’s difficult to explain why our performance was not as perfect as we expected. Supports were not good at all. The lack of synchronicity spoiled our performance, as well. 80% of our team members have been replaced, so we are not a tight-knit team yet", they noted.
