On the last day of the FINA/CNSG Diving World Series in Kazan, Jennifer Abel from Canada took gold in the 3m springboard event totaling 330.60 points.
“I am satisfied with my performance; winning in individual competitions is always exciting. But I know I can dive much better, especially than I did in the semifinal this morning. This week has been pretty tough, so I guess I was a little bit tired. I always strive to perfection, so I will not stop working hard until I receive excellent 10s”, said Jennifer.
Lin Shan (China) ranked second (303.60 points), and Chang Yani (China) won bronze (302.20 points).
“My performance today was frustrating, - characterized her dives silver medalist Lin Shan. – I usually do much better in practice”.
“I wrapped the first 2 dives, and I could not regain concentration to be competitive in terms of gold. I was at a loss, because I made easy mistakes, - confessed bronze medalist of the competition Chang Yani.
