The team event’s final took place at BWF World Junior Championships 2019 in Kazan on 5 October 2019, Saturday.
Team Indonesia beat Team China to win the team event at BWF World Junior Championships for the first time. The final match took place in the Gymnastics Centre in Kazan ending up with a score of 3-1 for the Indonesian athletes. During the deciding match, the last year’s champions, Team China, were lucky to win only one game in the men’s singles.
Badminton players from Japan and Thailand won the bronze medals in the Championships’ team event.
After the final match, the award ceremony crowned the team event. The winner teams received medals from Badminton Europe (BEC) Vice President and Chairman of Council of the National Badminton Federation of Russia Andrey Antropov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Children’s Sports Federal Project Coordinator in Tatarstan, and Merited Coach of the Russian Federation Olga Pavlova, and Chair of the Events Committee at BWF Peter Tarcala.
