Results of Tatarstan volunteers’ practical training at the 2016 EuroSkills Competition in Gothenburg (SWE) were summed up today at the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects. Volunteers were granted commendation letters for their contribution to the delivery of the upcoming event from the Organising Committee for the EuroSkills Competition Gothenburg 2016.
Deputy Head of the Administration for the WorldSkills Competition 2019 Preparation at the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects, Alina Urazaeva, thanked all the volunteers for their professionalism and personal skills displayed during their training period, summed up results of the year 2016 and shared plans for the year 2017.
For their part, the volunteers presented a short video clip about their practical training in Gothenburg and handed over to the Administration for the WorldSkills Competition 2019 Preparation a summary analytical report featuring their volunteer experience at the 2016 EuroSkills Competition, such as organisation of competitions at various venues, volunteers’ responsibilities, services for representatives of various client groups, etc.
This practical training became the first exchange of volunteer experience in the vuild-up to the 45th WorldSkills Competition in Kazan. In 2017, the volunteer team is about to take part in various projects and events of the WorldSkills Movement, scheduled to be held in Kazan, Russia and other countries of Russia, as well as implementation of the volunteer recruitment campaign for the 2019 WorldSkills Competition.
The 45th WorldSkills Competition will be staged in Kazan from 18 to 23 August, 2019. More than 1,500 participants and 3,000 experts from 76 countries around the world will take part in the competition in 50 competences. Competitions will be held at Kazan Expo venue, built specially for these competitions. Events will be attended by 2,000 volunteers from Russia and other countries of the world.
