The Russian Diving Championships 2019 kicked off in Kazan. The competition programme started with dives from the 3m springboard (men).

On 15-16 June 2019, the Red Bull Air Race World Championship will take place above the water area of the Kazanka River near the Kazan Family Centre. Kazan will host the competition for the third time. The best pilots will compete in the race.

On 27 May – 1 June, the Russian Diving Championships will take place at the Aquatics Palace, Kazan. 100 athletes (50 men and 50 women) will participate in the tournament. They will come from 12 Russian cities and regions. The strongest divers of the country will compete for the right to represent Russia at the FINA World Championships 2019 in Gwangju (KOR) in July.

The 3m synchro springboard performance of mixed duets concluded the programme of the FINA/CNSG Diving World Series. Domonic Bedggood and Maddison Keeney from Australia won the competition (318.12 points).

Yang Hao from China won in the 10m platform event in the leg of the FINA/CNSG Diving World Series in Kazan (537.05 points). “Gold is a good motivation to work harder. I am not happy about the entries this final, so I will have some time to work on it before the major competitions of the season. I was focusing on my performance and had no time to look at my rivals and follow intermediate results”, commented on his win Yang Hao.
