The Russian Swimming Championships end today in Kazan. The final competition day began with a new world junior record in the 100 m freestyle. It was set by Andrey Minakov from St. Petersburg who finished the distance at 47.57.

Today, on the penultimate day of the Russian Swimming Championships in Kazan, Ilya Borodin from the Bryansk Oblast set a new national record and world junior record in the men's 400m medley (4:11.50). He beat his previous years record (4:12.95).

Oleg Kostin from the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast won his second medal at the Russian Swimming Championships today. He came first the men's 50m butterfly race with the result of 22.82. Earlier, the swimmer got bronze in the 100m event.
