Anton Chupkov won the 100 m breaststroke swim with a result of 58.83. The previous record of Russia, 58.94, was also set in Kazan in November 2019 by the same athlete.

The competition programme of the second day of the Russian Championships in Kazan continued with the men’s 200 m medley where Ilya Borodin from the Bryansk Oblast took victory. By completing the distance in 1:58.00 he set a new record of Russia. The previous record of 1:58.16 was set by Andrey Zhilkin in Gwangju in 2019.
