Overnight leaders Russians collected their third gold of the day and won the team free event in the Kazan leg of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series scoring 97,9000 points.

Alexandr Maltsev and Mayya Gurbanberdyeva achieved victory in the duet free routine in the Kazan leg of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series (91,4000 points). Yesterday they ranked first in the duet technical routine.

Russians fully inherited the alien image to earn incredible 97,1000 points and leave all their chasers far behind. The day before, Svetlana Kolesnichenko ranked first in the solo technical event.

It surfaced at the press conference, which took place at the Aquatics Palace. On 19 April 2019, the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series and the Russian Artistic Swimming Championship kicked off in Kazan.

The FINA Artistic Swimming World Series and the Russian Synchronised Swimming Championship kicked off at the Aquatics Palace, Kazan. The tournament started with a solo technical routine. Svetlana Kolesnichenko (Russia) ranked first (92,8144 points). Svetlana is the 2016 Summer Olympics champion, multiple World and European champion.

On 14 April, FINA President Dr. Julio Maglione visited Kazan again. He inspected the progress of preparation for the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series 2019 to be held for the first time in Russia on 19-21 April, and the FINA Development Centre, established in September 2019.
