Kazan is currently getting ready to host the European Judo Championships that are due to be held in the sports capital of Russia on April 20-24, 2016. The inspection visits of the European Judo Union (EJU) and Russian Judo Federation (RJF) are underway these days in Kazan to check the host city’s preparation progress for next year’s sporting event. Among those who came to inspect Kazan are EJU Vice President Michal Vachun, Assistant to the EJU President Yana Dmitrieva, EJU Head Office Director Martin Poiger, RJF Vice President and Executive Director Valentin Khabirov, RJF Events Manager Anatoly Laryukov and other officials.

The fifth and final day of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships turned out to be the busiest one of the entire national tournament. Fates of the last tickets for this December’s Short Course Europeans were decided in 14 finals.
