From 28 May to 1 June 2019, Kazan hosted the Russian Diving Championships at the at the Aquatics Palace (70 Sibgata Khakima St.) for the fourth time.
The capital of Tatarstan has repeatedly hosted the national championships: Russian Junior Diving Championships (2013, 2014), Russian Diving Championships (2014, 2015, 2017).
The competition programme features dives from the 3m springboard and from the 10m platform. Titles will be up for grabs in the individual, synchro, mixed and team events.
The goal of the national championships is to promote the sport of diving in the country, as well as selecting members for the Russian national diving team for the 2019 European Diving Championships in Kiev (UKR) and FINA World Championships 2019 in Gwangju (KOR).
